Each year, Northside Hospital Gwinnett hosts a symposium for the non-profit community, covering a variety of health care topics aimed at educating and engaging the community. Experts lead discussions on key health issues, advancements in health care and emerging health trends. The event provides a platform for attendees to ask questions, gain insights, and connect with health care professionals. It also emphasizes the importance of community partnerships.
If you’ve been thinking about getting your teeth whitened, consider participating in the Brighter Smiles for Brighter Futures program. Created in 2001 by Dr. Bruce E. Carter, the program enlists our dental community’s help in the fight against breast cancer. Participating dentists raise money for cancer care at Northside Hospital Gwinnett by exchanging professional teeth bleaching for a donation to the Gwinnett Hospital System Foundation.
The dentists do not receive any compensation for the services provided through Brighter Smiles, and 100% of your donation goes to the Foundation. Since its beginning, more than 65 dentists have contributed over $1.3 million to help fund breast cancer treatment programs and expansion projects at Northside Hospital Gwinnett.
Each year, the Gwinnett Hospital System Foundation is pleased to host the Dr. Miles H. Mason, Jr., Memorial Golf Tournament.
Proceeds from the tournament directly support the Concussion Institute at Northside Hospital Duluth. With the most advanced technology and a team of highly-skilled experts from across the country, the Concussion Institute is helping athletes return to both the field and the classroom as quickly, and as safely, as possible. It is the first center in the Southeast to include Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing (ImPACT), neuropsychology, athletic training, vestibular therapy, visual therapy and physical therapy-all under one roof.
